Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based sales professional to cover Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. You will drive brand strategy, manage territory and key accounts, and place the patient at the center of all activity while adhering to AbbVie policies and regulations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in health/science/business or equivalent experience, with a proven sales track record, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or equivalent industry experience required.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health/science sales with 3+ years in the district/territory is preferred.
• Proven track record of selling, strong presentation skills and ability to adapt to customer styles.
• English language proficiency in both spoken and written forms for non-English-speaking contexts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and achieve KPIs, financial targets and marketing objectives.
• Create pre-call plans with SMART objectives and post-call evaluations to improve performance.
• Build trusted customer relationships and solve customer needs for win-win agreements.
• Develop and execute a call plan to maximize coverage and frequency for key customers.
• Share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape and competitors with in-field and brand teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and identify disease state experts and advocates.
