McKinstry seeks a DER Procurement Leader to guide the procurement strategy for Distributed Energy Resources, focusing on risk mitigation, supplier relationships, and scalable MSAs. The role requires deep DER/EPC experience and strong negotiation skills within a governed enterprise framework.

You will work across engineering, legal, finance, and project teams to align procurement with enterprise policies, drive long-term savings, and manage supplier performance while supporting McKinstry’s

Qualifications

Strategic sourcing leadership and end-to-end lifecycle management in governed environment.
DER technologies, EPC partners, OEMs, scope, risk and pricing knowledge.
Understanding IRA/ITC/PTC, domestic content, tariffs and trade implications.

Responsibilities

Define and execute DER procurement strategy aligned with DER leadership.
Lead sourcing, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, logistics and planning.
Develop Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) for scalability and performance obligations.
Govern supplier ecosystem, ensure safety, ESG, and performance monitoring.
Coordinate with Enterprise Procurement and DER governance to maximize value.
May directly manage one or more direct reports.
