Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our Distributed Energy Renewables (DER) National division. You will support RFPs, track projects, and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and the project team to ensure on-time delivery.

You will review contracts, drawings and specifications, develop scopes of work, and assist with monthly financials. A strong background in construction management and Proj/MS Office tools is preferred for success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical/Architectural/FM or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, drawings, specs and proposals.
• Experience with MS Office, Project, and SharePoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support RFPs and procurement processes.
• Track jobs and staffing needs; assist in project setup and closeout.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs and resources to answer questions.
• Coordinate equipment procurement with vendors and purchasing department.
• Assist in development of Scope of Work and project documentation.
