Job summary

Amyx, Inc. in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support the DHS/CISA Operational Support Services contract.

The role acts as an alternate Project Manager and single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR, providing subject matter expertise, program management, reporting, and strategic planning to support the mission as part of the CSD Mission Support Services work effort.

Qualifications

• Providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.
• Providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
• Consulting with client to define need or problem; and supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrating an ability to manage a large, matrixed and remote workforce especially if the contract includes sub-contract agreements.
• Active or ability to acquire a DHS Suitability Clearance at the Secret Level.

Responsibilities

• The Deputy Project Manager will function as the alternate Project Manager and shall be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). It is anticipated that the Deputy Project Manager shall be one of the senior-level/ subject matter experts provided by the Contractor for this work effort.
• Provide subject matter expertise, program management, program analysis and reporting, documentation, and/or strategic planning and overall management as required to support the CSD Mission Support Services work effort.
