Job summary

Amyx is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager-Advanced to support our Cybersecurity Division in the NCE Springfield, VA area. Responsible for the cybersecurity of a program, organization, system, or enclave.

The role requires leadership in risk management, security architecture, budgeting, and coordination with senior leadership to ensure a strong defensive posture and compliant operations across enterprise IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• DoD 8140 Certification: CISSP-ISSMP or GSLC.
• Skill in creating policies that reflect system security objectives.
• Skill in determining how a security system should work and changes in conditions affect outcomes.
• Ability to integrate information security requirements into the acquisition process.
• Ability to identify critical infrastructure systems with ICT designed without security.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage resources to support IT security goals and reduce risk.
• Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture.
• Lead enterprise continuity of operations planning and budgeting.
• Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews.
• Ensure protection and detection capabilities align with security architecture.
• Interface with external organizations to disseminate security information.
