Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Security Systems Project Manager (Deputy Project Leader) to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will run day-to-day project operations, manage change orders, and collaborate with owners, contractors, and design professionals to deliver complex security infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and ensuring on-time completion while maintaining as-builts and project documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in EE or related field with 5-7 years construction experience.
• Experience with electrical or construction contractors.
• Experience with CPM Scheduling.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Blue Beam and PDF.
• Ability to travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section of a project.
• Identify change orders and ensuring effective resolution.
• Price, track and manage change orders.
• Plan and monitor cash flow against cash expenses.
• Maintain as-builts as work is completed; document project issues/conditions.
• Plan and execute project completion and punch list.
• Communicate with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals.
• .Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
