Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a high-impact, multi-agency program serving the United States Space Force and Space Systems Command. You will oversee a large SATCOM system within an existing infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on PKI, Agile development, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires coordinating with CO/COR, Government PMO, and senior leadership, while managing resources, schedules, and contractual compliance to ensure successful mission outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of relevant experience; higher experience may substitute for degree.
• 10+ years as a Program/Project Manager leading large, complex programs.
• At least 1 year of experience managing funds/resources with earned value methods.
• Experience with requirements analysis, resource allocation, cost tracking, and schedule/financial monitoring.
• Proven leadership managing direct reports and cross-functional teams.
• Experience overseeing multiple subcontractors and partners in program execution.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program administration and business operations including subcontracts, EVM, finance, and security.
• Serve as a primary liaison with CO, COR, government PMO, and senior leadership.
• Lead program operations in PM absence or when engaged elsewhere.
• Maintain awareness of program activities and act as secondary liaison to government stakeholders.
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance to meet KPIs and annual plans.
• Ensure compliance with SOW, Leidos policies, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and review program reports and inputs for IPMR/PSR/CDRL.
• Coordinate with functional teams to meet customer and company requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to track status and provide support.
• Coordinate ECP development and support business development.
• Review Earned Value and TTC/other financial reports.
• Communicate issues/risks to Government PMO in a timely manner.
• Contribute to timely delivery of CDRL deliverables.
