Job summary

Kord, a leading defense solutions company, seeks a Deputy Program Manager to support a high-visibility HEL program in Huntsville, AL. You will partner with the Program Manager to ensure cost-schedule-technical performance and customer satisfaction, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, DoD program experience, and a collaborative leadership style to drive program execution and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required; ability to maintain clearance throughout employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Program Management, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting DoD, aerospace, or defense-related programs, with increasing responsibility.
• Experience interacting directly with government customers, prime contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience developing and presenting program status to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in the overall execution, management, and successful delivery of program objectives.
• Maintain and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and align milestones across functional areas.
• Lead program reviews, status meetings, and internal coordination meetings.
• Assist with development and management of program financials including EAC, ETC, forecasting, and monthly reviews.
• Support EVMS execution and reporting requirements including CAM, schedule and cost performance tracking.
