Job description

MicroHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to operate as the Deputy Program Manager in support of our US Family Health Plan (USFHP) and Eligibility, Enrollment and Encounter (EEE) programs. This key role will serve as the right hand to the Program Director, overseeing critical aspects of program execution, client relationships, and team management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a distributed team work environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Program Director in overseeing USFHP and EEE programs
  • Manage client interactions and maintain strong relationships
  • Oversee partner management and coordination
  • Monitor and manage program costs and financial oversight
  • Ensure timely delivery of all program deliverables
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the program team
  • Facilitate effective remote work practices
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program efficiency and effectiveness
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to program success

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare program management
  • Proven track record in client relationship management
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget oversight
  • Excellent project management and deliverable tracking skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in remote work tools and technologies
  • Experience with healthcare regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment: This is a full-time, remote position. The successful candidate must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or team gatherings.

Salary: $100,000- $115,000

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee may lift or move objects up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
