Career Team, a leading workforce development organization, seeks a Deputy Director to assist management in planning, organizing, and directing the daily operations of the Workforce Solutions Centers. Reporting to the Project Director, the Deputy Director provides direct support to front-line staff and customers across the twelve-county Deep East Texas region. This onsite role emphasizes SOP adherence, staff development, and cross-agency coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, public relations, or related field.
3+ years of direct supervisory experience overseeing frontline staff.
Ability to establish relationships with diverse constituents.
Strong oral and written communication for large groups and individuals.
Willingness to learn new software and skills.
Valid Driver's License.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Responsibilities
Ensure SOPs align with WSDET and TWC policies.
Provide day-to-day operational guidance to staff.
Serve as primary contact in the Project Director's absence.
Lead staff development and budget alignment across funding streams.
Oversee program implementation and compliance.
Coordinate meetings with management, partners, and the Board.
