Job summary

The role serves as chief advisor to the Chief MOA Officer, guiding operational strategy, facilities management, and cross‑office collaboration with a focus on long‑term Museum goals and excellence.

Qualifications

• SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: managerial and leadership skills with extensive museum administration and operations expertise.
• Experience at least one year at the GS-15 level or equivalent.
• Ability to provide policy guidance and oversee operating and staffing functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Office of Museum Operations and Administration (MOA) and supervise ~20 staff.
• Oversee MOA budget planning, formulation, and execution.
• Represent the Museum with IAMFA and coordinate cross‑office initiatives.
• Advise senior leaders on operations, facilities, and administrative matters.
