Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Massachusetts is seeking a Depot Technician II to join the repair team. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and validate devices, document results, and drive continuous improvements in the service process.

Commitment to safety and quality under first-shift schedules is required. The role requires 2+ years in a fast-paced service environment, plus proficiency with tools, multimeters, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2 year technical college degree or meaningful service experience.
• 2+ years in a fast-paced service or customer support environment.
• Experience using tools and multimeters.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation, environmental chemistry, pneumatics and mechanics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic CRM/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair repairs ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Test and calibrate repaired devices and provide documentation.
• Manage return authorizations, service quotes, and service orders.
• Support lean practices and continuous improvement in service operations.
