Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is seeking a General Manager I at our Melville depot to lead a team serving up to 800 customers. You will partner with an Operations Manager, supervise part of the hourly workforce, and drive safety, service excellence, and financial results.

You will focus on team engagement, fleet performance, and HACCP/FDA compliance, while managing inventory and depot expenses. A bachelor’s in business and strong leadership are preferred; $110k–$125k with a 30% target bonus.

Qualifications

• Operations experience required, 1+ year strongly preferred.
• Management experience required, 1+ year strongly preferred.
• Skilled in motivating others and building highly engaged and effective teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee performance through coaching conversations.
• Managerial courage to address performance issues and lead with confidence.
• Proven track record in achieving financial and operational results.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage team engagement and performance; monitor KPIs.
• Foster a safety-first culture; coach and mentor drivers on safety.
• Oversee fleet performance and maintenance; ensure inspections.
• Ensure DOT hours of service compliance and driver qualifications.
• Manage new installations of Oil Management system at customer sites.
• Ensure service excellence and KPI achievement through staffing and leadership.
• Oversee oil distribution and inventory to maintain high service levels.
• Ensure depot HACCP compliance and FDA regulatory readiness.
• Analyze depot operating expenses and report on P&L.
