Job summary

The First National Bank in Sioux Falls is seeking a Deposit Services Specialist to support the administration and back-end management of customer deposit accounts. You will perform a variety of operational tasks to ensure accurate processing of deposits in line with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• Process CIP and COBO check-off in an efficient and accurate manner; Identify, address, and/or escape issues appropriately.
• Process new account openings, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• IRA Savings & IRA CD Administrative Support
• Assist with IRA/EOY Reporting
• Ensure unclaimed property is sent to appropriate states.
• Complete all required check off process in an efficient and accurate manner; Identify, address, and/or escape issues appropriately.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Deposit Processing Reconciliation and Maintenance: Process deposit servicing Maintenance and Reconciliation, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Quality Control: Verify critical fields and confirm receipt of signature cards and related account documents; Review system reports, solve problems, and correct all errors.
• Mail Processing and Distribution: Accurate, efficient, and secure handling of incoming and outgoing mail for the Bank; log, research and resolve each return mail piece; maintain, monitor, and charge return mail fees.
