Job summary

First National Bank seeks an action-oriented Check Operations Manager to lead a multi-shift production department. You will serve as the operational anchor for a diverse team handling morning and evening workflows, ensuring smooth operations and timely output across deposits channels.

Core hours are 10:00 AM–6:30 PM CST with flexibility for meetings and coverage. Strong leadership, process optimization and regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role at FNBO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-shift check processing operations and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Develop staffing plans, coach staff, and manage PTO across shifts.
• Monitor SLAs and enforce procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate training and cross-training for department functions across shifts.
• Analyze production metrics and drive continuous improvement via MDIs.
• Collaborate with Process and Systems Analysts to establish SLAs and goals for improvement.
