Norway Savings Bank in Portland, Maine seeks a Business Deposit Development Officer to lead high-level deposit sales, expand commercial relationships, and drive growth across cash management and related services. The role emphasizes a customer-first mindset and strong relationship-building with businesses and municipal clients.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, proven sales and customer service skills, and deep knowledge of deposit products.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent knowledge of bank deposit products and services.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and with others and to meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Manage and grow new deposit relationships and cross-sell other bank services.
• Develop and maintain a strong referral network with COI/referral sources.
• Coordinate in-person meetings with prospective clients and referral sources.
• Expand business deposits by calling on businesses, municipalities and non-profits.
• Represent the Bank in the community through volunteer activities and events.
• Collaborate with Commercial Lenders and Cash Management to service deposits.
