Job summary

Norway Savings Bank in Norway, ME is seeking a Deposit Operations Representative I to support daily banking operations and deposit product maintenance. You will handle account edits, research inquiries, and reconcile ledgers while serving as the primary contact for deposit customers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and teamwork, with an emphasis on learning and growing within the bank’s operations team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of computers, Excel, Word and merge documents.
• The ability to learn quickly and multi-task.
• The ability to handle customer calls in a pleasant, courteous, and timely manner.
• Experience with banking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Edit deposit applications including certificates, savings, DDA, cards and SDB accounts.
• Edit CIF changes including name and address changes.
• Edit stop payments on DDA or SAV and send corrected forms.
• Edit holds on DDA or SAV and send corrected forms.
• Post incoming wire transactions.
• Answer account inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Process research requests.
• Process subpoena/legal summons.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger or bank DDA accounts.
• Complete and process account verification requests from 3rd parties
