Job summary

Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital is seeking a patient-focused Administrative Clerk to support the Radiology department. The role includes coordinating schedules, checking in patients, and handling routine inquiries in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will maintain confidential information, input data, and help manage inventories, with a typical Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule. A High School Diploma and 0–3 years of experience are required, along with basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0-3 years of relevant healthcare administration experience preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate department schedules and maintain accurate reports and correspondence.
  • Check in patients and assist with flow of appointments.
  • Answer routine inquiries and escalate as needed.
  • Monitor supply inventories and process purchase orders.
  • Assist with budgets and department objectives as needed.

Schedule: Monday- Friday; 8:00am- 4:30pm
Location: Paoli Hospital; this position will support Radiology
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures effective operations of the department by coordinating schedules, providing accurate reports and correspondence, inputting database information and filing, and maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Check in patients
  • Answers routine inquiries received from visitors and refers others as appropriate.
  • Monitors supply inventories and completes and forwards purchase orders to replenish supply levels.
  • Assists manager or equivalent with budgets and objectives as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience; health care setting a plus.
  • Requires basic proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
