Indiana University Health seeks a Facilities Manager for Bedford and Paoli, leading facility planning, upgrades and preventive maintenance. You will manage project timelines, budgets and contract work, while ensuring safe operation of HVAC, electrical and life-safety systems across two hospital sites.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years directing teams and at least 5 years in HVAC/electrical/utility systems, with a technical or business degree.

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Facilities and Maintenance leadership team in the role of Facilities Manager.
Serves as the business unit facility leader in planning and developing facilities and new construction. Directs projects (e.g. site repairs/construction, preventive maintenance, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completion within established time frames, project design and budget. Exercises optimal utilization of personnel and other resources. Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, NFPA, NEX, LS, and elevators. Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement. Inspects new construction, repair work, projects, equipment, work orders, daily maintenance and supplies for the purpose of ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently; specifications for major capital improvements are within local/state/federal regulations; and approving inspection reports and payment requests. Deep understanding of industry maintenance coding.
This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday day shift supporting both Bedford and Paoli Hospitals. Ideal candidates will have previous healthcare experience.
Reports to: Facilities and Safety Director
Direct Reports: 4 FTE plus 6-8 contractors at any given time
Key Relationships: Nursing, EVS, Food and Nutrition, Logistics
