Job summary

The Paper Store in Bristol, CT is seeking a Department Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest experiences using the G.U.E.S.T. service approach. You will oversee store operations, payroll within budget, training staff, and maintaining visual standards to drive sales.

The ideal candidate will train and motivate the team daily, foster a positive work environment, and ensure adherence to company policies while supporting store openings and remodels.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialty retail preferred.
• Ability to multi task while attending customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as a TPS Champion by delivering World Class Service.
• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm.
• Explain product features and benefits to customers’ needs with in-depth knowledge.
• Suggest additional items to build onto sales using effective selling techniques.
• Train staff in merchandising, operations, and TPS standards.
