Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high attention and accurate customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and department organization.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates promptly.
• Process forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Assist with showroom merchandise processing and placement.
• Validate product placement and pricing.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process checkouts using POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
• Follow cash/credit procedures and respond to phone inquiries.
• Stock and tag displays; create price tags and signs.
