Job summary

H-E-B Store Department Lead will guide a busy, well-stocked department, ensuring excellent customer service while supervising Partners. The role includes scheduling, training, and coordinating cross-department activities across Bakery, Produce, Deli, and more.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (AA), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 6+ months of related experience and / or training
• Completion of Company Orientation, food safety and sanitation training, and eCommerce Online Ordering training
• 18+ years of age

Responsibilities

• Lead department operations, including scheduling, supervision, and training Partners
• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with selections
• Oversee inventory control and daily department tasks across multiple areas (Bakery, Produce, Deli, etc.)
• Train Partners and address customer issues; ensure production plans are followed
• Assist with ordering, event planning, and system roll-outs as needed
