Job summary
42 North Dental is hiring a part-time Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care from exam to treatment delivery, including in-office specialties and patient education. The role supports a high patient flow in an established practice with opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network and internal CE events.
The position offers health and vision coverage, 401K, life insurance, and exclusive discounts.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plans with patients.
- Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
- Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
- Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
