42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive care, from exams to restorative and surgical procedures, in a thriving practice. The role emphasizes patient education and treatment planning to ensure optimal oral health.

Qualifications

• Must have DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
