Job summary
42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis, with a strong monthly patient flow and opportunities for exclusive continuing education. You will oversee the full patient experience, from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care including in-office specialties.
The practice offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to participate in Harvard Rounds Network CE events and a competitive daily rate.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain high quality of care and ethics.
- Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
