Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time dentist to deliver full patient care, from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
