Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care in a high-quality practice. The role covers exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, and in-office procedures across specialties, with a focus on patient education and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
