Job summary

Thomaston-Dental-Associates is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join our Operations team. You will educate patients on recommended care, present financial options, and coordinate insurance and billing details to support case acceptance and production goals.

You will liaise with providers, assist with financing applications, and help maintain a warm, efficient front desk while traveling to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dental front office or treatment coordination.
• Strong communication skills to explain clinical concepts in lay terms.
• Comfortable discussing financial responsibilities with empathy and professionalism.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Familiarity with CareStack or similar dental practice software preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review treatment plans with patients and explain recommended care in clear terms.
• Answer questions and address concerns regarding treatments and costs.
• Present financial responsibilities, insurance estimates, and third-party financing options.
• Assist patients with financing applications when needed.
• Follow up with undecided patients and track treatment acceptance.
• Coordinate schedules and optimize patient flow in the practice management system.
• Verify coverage details and submit pre-authorizations; assist with billing inquiries.
• Greet patients, manage front desk tasks, and maintain a welcoming reception area.
• Travel between locations as needed.
