Job summary

Patterson Companies, a leading dental and animal health company, is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive profitable sales by developing, maintaining, and advancing dental accounts within a defined territory.

You will present Patterson products and services, discuss ROI and tax advantages, coordinate demonstrations, keep detailed records of prospects and orders, and help clients adopt technology solutions. This role offers commission-based earnings and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years of business to business outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• A strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are required.
• Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
• General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office is required.
• You must also possess a valid driver's license.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a 'practice partner' approach with doctors, analyze needs, discuss ROI and trends.
• Maintain knowledge of Patterson products, competitive intelligence, and industry info.
• Maintain accurate records for prospects, orders, and sales activity.
• Perform other duties related to the Territory Sales Rep role.
