Rodeo Dental is seeking a Specialty Care Coordinator to guide patients through specialty dental care, clearly communicating treatment plans, timelines, and financial obligations while serving as a liaison between the doctor and patient. In collaboration with the doctor, you will translate complex treatment protocols into approachable conversations and provide patients with financial options.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, requiring residency and work authorization

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with PPO, HMO, and Medicaid plans.
• Strong time management and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking in patient concerns and operations.
• Advanced knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment planning.

Responsabilités

• Educate and explain treatment recommendations to patients and guardians.
• Establish clear expectations with patients by outlining procedures, financials, and timelines.
• Reschedule and follow up with patients who have missed or referred for specialty services.
• Prepare and manage all specialty schedules to optimize provider utilization.
• Submit and follow up on all pre-authorizations for MD, PPO, and HMO plans.
