Alameda Crossing Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Specialty Healthcare Coordinator (SHC) to partner with Specialists and help secure financial commitment for diagnosed treatments. You will educate patients on options, overcome objections, and support PPE and PFL while keeping specialty schedules productive.

The role emphasizes understanding financial options, coordinating with teams, and ensuring smooth patient experiences. Travel between offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain a financial commitment from the patient to start treatment.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination to keep specialty days productive.
• Proficient in the PDS system and tools to help patients decide.
• Educate patients on treatment options and financial methods.
• Communicate with office and specialty teams; arrange follow-up appointments.
• Understand and present available financial options to fit budgets.
• Obtain insurance pre-authorizations when needed.
• Support daily huddles and team meetings.
