Job Description

Overview

The main focus of this position is to drive growth for the dental practice.

Working to:

1. Reactivate patients not seen in 6+months
2. Converting prospective patients into actual patients
3. Submit PTE, claims, and appeals to insurance carriers.
4. Obtaining and Presenting Financing Options for Treatment
5. Present and drive adoption of treatment plans
6. Solicit and obtain Google Reviews and Patient Referrals

Success will be measured by monthly and annual increase in active patients, new patients, practice collections, practice production, and Google reviews.

Current situation

Smile Brookline is 100% fee for service at time of service. No balance billing, co-pays, or EOBs. As such, we are Customer centric offering concierge level service. Establishing relationships and trust with patients is the key to our success.

What we need:

1. Phones/scheduling treatment/health screen (phone/upon arrival)

a. Collect payment day of treatment; schedule follow up appointments.

1. Work with insurance companies: PTE, claims submissions, benefit verification, appeals etc.
2. Treatment planning and presentation to PTs, drive adoption and PMT options. (acceptance/conversion)
3. Someone who is great on phones/in-person/writing

a. Get new PTs in the door (conversions)

b. Reactivate PT who have not been in the practice in 6+ months (conversions)

c. Track various stages of treatment (PTE, Treatment Plan, Financing, outside services (endo, perio, ortho) with heavy emphasis on PT follow-up

d. Encourage and solicit social media reviews (Google/Yelp). Track reviews, and respond to reviews in a timely manner.

e. Encourage and solicit Patient Referrals.

1. Claims preparation and submission to ensure approval and payment to Patient ASAP.
2. Social Media: Respond to Google/Yelp Reviews, Create/Manager Social Media presence with postings and fresh content.

Future Responsibilities:

1. Process improvement suggestions
2. Marketing suggestions to drive growth

Other duties and responsibilities as required by the practice. This is a position that one grows into with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
