Job summary

Todays Dental Lexington is seeking an Office Manager who owns the numbers, the schedule, and the team. This is not a clerical role.

You will hold the production and collection targets, run the morning huddle, hire and develop the front and back office, keep insurance aging under control, and make sure the doctors can spend their day doing dentistry. You will have the authority to make decisions, and the expectation that you will make them.

Qualifications

• Two or more years managing a dental practice or healthcare office.
• Fluency with dental insurance workflows and reporting.
• Ability to address issues directly with team members promptly.
• High moral and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly production, collection, and case-acceptance targets, and report on them.
• Run the morning huddle and keep the schedule productive — no holes, no overbooked columns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop the administrative and clinical support team.
• Keep claims, attachments, and accounts receivable current, and chase aged balances.
• Handle escalated patient concerns before they become reviews.
• Keep the practice compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations — and keep the records that prove it.
