Dentist in Winston Salem is seeking an Office Manager who owns the numbers, the schedule, and the team. This role is not clerical; you’ll drive production and collection targets, run the morning huddle, and lead the front and back office with hiring and development responsibilities.

You will have authority to make decisions and are expected to act decisively. HIPAA, OSHA, and state compliance must be maintained, ensuring doctors can focus on dentistry.

Qualifications

• Two or more years managing a dental practice, or comparable healthcare leadership.
• Fluency in practice management software, insurance workflows, and dental reporting.
• Willing to address team matters directly when needed, not delayed.
• Able to read production reports and advise on Monday adjustments.
• High moral and ethical standards that cannot be compromised.

Responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly production, collection, and case-acceptance targets, and report on them.
• Run the morning huddle and keep the schedule productive — no holes, no overbooked columns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop the administrative and clinical support team.
• Keep claims, attachments, and accounts receivable current, and chase aged balances.
• Handle escalated patient concerns before they become reviews.
• Keep the practice compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations — and keep the records that prove it.
