Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Practice Manager of Operations for Hessel Park Family Dentistry in Champaign, IL. You will partner with the Doctor, guide the team, and focus on delivering exceptional patient care and strong practice performance.

The PMO will lead training, set annual goals, and drive accountability through weekly huddles, monthly synergy meetings, and daily briefings to support practice growth and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree or 3 - 5 years’ leadership experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentiality and team ethics.

Responsibilities

• Strive towards mastery of role by completing PMO Training to develop technical, commitment and leadership skills.
• Develop and pursue annual top 10 business goals and 16 personal development goals.
• Ensure goals and priorities of Doctors and teams are achieved through servant leadership.
• Support the Doctor Led, Hygiene Driven, Operations focus through meetings and huddles.
• Help Doctor prioritize, plan and block schedule for CE through Doctor Education and Leadership programs.
• Onboard new team members through partnerships with recruiting and support office.
• Identify and support future team growth by selecting candidates for positions.
• Partner with Doctors to identify skills needed for open positions and proper selection team.
