Job summary

Wayland Dental in Wayland, MA is seeking a clinically-focused, patient-centric Office Manager to lead the front and back-office operations and sustain a best-in-class patient experience. This full-time role (Mon–Fri) requires strong leadership, payroll, vendor management, KPI oversight, and staff development within a collaborative dental team.

Reporting to the Practice Leader, you will ensure smooth daily finances, care coordination, and a WOW patient experience while guiding a motivated staff

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a dental office manager or practice leader
• Experience in leadership positions, mentoring staff
• Attention to detail with strong project management and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily and monthly financial aspects of the office, including revenue cycle and reporting
• Manages payroll, performance reviews, onboarding/offboarding, and staff development
• Maintains staffing across departments, leads staff meetings and huddles
• Delegates roles to team members and ensures a patient-centric culture
• Collaborates with Regional Leader to improve patient experience
