Job summary

Gentle Dental Indio is seeking a full-time Business Manager to ensure the office operates smoothly from open to close and to support exceptional patient service. You will work with a Director of Operations and an Area Clinical Director to foster a positive team culture and drive office performance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing bookkeeping and payroll, coordinating daily schedules, handling insurance claims, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous Dental or healthcare management experience preferred but not required.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate a must (QSI/Denticon experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the office team, recruit and train non-clinical staff.
• Evaluate office production and procedures to improve efficiency, retention, profitability.
• Oversee bookkeeping, payroll prep, invoice processing, and cash control.
• Coordinate daily operations, schedule staff, and support providers.
• Manage patient payments and insurance claims; ensure accurate balances.
• Review production reports to meet or exceed monthly budgets.
• Serve as back-up to front desk; handle appointments and patient questions.
• Ensure compliance with state dental laws and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with HR on staff issues.
