Job summary

Twinsburg Dental Associates, a Heartland Dental supported office, is looking for a Dental Office Assistant to join our team and support front office operations.

We emphasize patient-first care, continuous learning, and strong teamwork. You will greet patients, manage phones and emails, schedule with Dentrix, process insurance, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties, including answering phones, mail/email, and coordination with patients and insurance companies.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims and benefits.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
