Job summary

Heartland Dental is hiring a Business Assistant to join ForwardDental - Muskego - Janesville. No experience required; training provided. You will handle front office duties, greet patients, manage phones and scheduling, and assist with insurance claims and payments.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or open to new grads.
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred; Dentrix a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and scheduling.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Schedule/confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• Process insurance claims and handle payments/accounts receivable.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and payment options.
• Support team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
