Job summary

Eastern Dental is seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist at our Ewing, NJ location to greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage front desk tasks. This role supports clinicians and patients, processes registrations, and handles payments.

The ideal candidate has experience answering calls in a professional setting, good communication and multitasking skills, and knowledge of insurance plans; Denticon experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience answering the telephone in a professional environment.
• Experience in the Dental or Healthcare Industry is required.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of insurance plans preferred.
• Experience with Denticon is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and departure.
• Respond to patient questions and/or concerns and escalate when needed.
• Answer telephones, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage front desk voicemail.
• Follow up on no-shows and cancellations.
• Register patients from sign-in sheet.
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
• Maintain the waiting area for patients.
• Perform other tasks as necessary.
