Qualifications

• Access to PHI and HIPAA training is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients entering the office to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front desk duties: answer phones, mail, email, and communications with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records; arrange appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits and coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments; manage accounts receivable.
• Discuss treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
