Job summary

Hilltop Regional Health Center in Tacoma, WA is hiring Patient Services Representatives to manage patient accounts, set up payment plans, and answer billing questions. You will review sliding fee paperwork and ensure accuracy in EHR/EPM systems while coordinating referrals to specialties and community resources.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1 year of front-office experience in healthcare. Shift is 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, four days a week, under a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 1 year experience in medical front office or combination of relevant experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Set up payment plans and answer questions concerning bills.
• Process referrals to specialty care, dieticians, radiology exams, and community resources.
• Ensure copays and deductibles are adjusted based on sliding fee level.
• Review sliding fee paperwork for completeness and ensure documented correctly in EHR and EPM.
• Answer billing questions from staff, vendors, and patients.
