Eastview Family Dental, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team. You will support front office operations, greet patients, answer calls, and manage scheduling with Dentrix.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI for job functions and HIPAA training required; protect PHI and data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail and email, patient and insurer communications.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records; schedule/confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits and coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems in the office.
