North Charleston Family Dental, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Business Assistant to support front-office operations and patient interactions in a fast-paced dental office. You will help manage scheduling, claims, and communications to ensure smooth daily procedures.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills, experience in customer service, and familiarity with HIPAA/PHI practices. This role offers growth within a large national dental support organization.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties including phones, mail, email, and patient communications.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records; coordinate appointments for multiple providers.
• File and post insurance claims; verify benefits and explain coverage; assist with payments.
