Job summary

Your Impact: What You’ll Do

1. Patient Engagement
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and with personality—patients should be able to hear your smile through the phone.
  • -Speaking Spanish is a bonus
  • Engage with patients about appointments, insurance questions, and other needs.
  • Encourage and facilitate scheduling of new and existing patient appointments.
2. Insurance Coordination
  • Contact insurance companies to obtain benefit breakdowns and verify coverage.
  • Work with the insurance coordinator to ensure accurate claim processing.
3. Appointment Management
  • Create and verify simple treatment plans based on patient needs and insurance coverage.
  • Confirm patient appointments and follow up as needed.
  • Collect patient co-pays and manage financial transactions accurately.
  • Keep the hygiene schedule as full and accurate as possible; partner with the Practice Coordinator to keep the doctor’s schedule optimized.
4. Communication
  • Use Weave to communicate with patients via phone calls, text, and email.
  • Assist the Practice Coordinator with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
5. Office Maintenance
  • Help maintain a clean, organized office environment—including your workstation, the break room, and the front office bathroom.

  • - Experience: At least 1 year performing tasks exactly like those listed above (or very similar). We’ll consider exceptional candidates with less experience if you have the right attitude.

  • - Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning new software (Weave, practice management, Eaglesoft and spreadsheets).
  • - Mature & Level-Headed: You stay calm under pressure and take ownership of your work.
