Heartland Dental is hiring an Experienced Dental Receptionist for a full-time position with a multi-day schedule (Tue 8am-5pm, Wed 10am-7pm, Thu 8am-4pm, Fri 7am-3:30pm). The role offers a salary range of $23-$25 per hour based on experience, plus benefits.

At Plymouth Meeting Family Dental, part of Heartland Dental, you’ll join a team focused on patient-first care, learning, and collaboration. Expect front-office duties, insurance processing, and daily use of Dentrix in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.
• Preferred: 1+ year in a dental/medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, email, and communications with patients and insurers.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on claims.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
