Virginia Family Dentistry in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Front Desk Scheduler to join our Ironbridge team. This is a full-time, on-site role that handles scheduling, patient greeting, insurance updates, and daily clerical tasks to keep the office running efficiently.

Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour based on experience. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, holidays, and continuing

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year or more of dental office experience.
• Attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review schedules daily to fill open appointment times.
• Confirm, schedule, and follow up on unscheduled appointments.
• Greet patients, answer phones, and check emails daily.
• Run patient reports and follow up on treatment calls.
• Update patient information, including insurance and contact details.
• Coordinate with insurance on pre-treatment estimates and updates.
• Communicate with accounts receivable on balances or financial arrangements.
• Coordinate with specialists and hygiene coordinators.
• Review treatment plans with patients and explain insurance coverage.
