Job summary

Virginia Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist (Greeter) for Brandermill. The role handles phones, patient greeting, scheduling, and records, with a pay range of $17.00–$22.00 hourly and typical hours 8 am–5 pm Monday–Friday.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and includes a robust benefits package. Dental office experience is preferred and the role serves as the first point of contact for patients.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of receptionist experience. Dental office experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer central telephone system and direct calls accordingly.
• Make outgoing calls to patients for appointment reminders, rescheduling, and missed appointments.
• Check patients in on time and ensure schedule flows on time by communicating with clinical staff and management.
• Update existing patient accounts and open new patient accounts.
• Scan patient documents into the document center (IDs, insurance cards, forms, etc.).
• Maintain a clean reception area and stocked supplies; keep areas organized.
• Assist dental lab deliveries by receiving incoming cases and outgoing cases.
• Prepare charts for upcoming appointments.
