Specialty1 Partners in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Patient Scheduler to join our busy specialty dental practice. You will be the first point of contact, delivering friendly, informative service to patients and referral offices, and supporting front desk operations.

The role requires at least 1 year in dental scheduling or customer service, strong communication, and proficiency with dental software and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a scheduler in a dental environment or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and referral offices via phone.
• Manage a multi-line phone queue to assist callers efficiently.
• Direct callers to the appropriate department or individual.
• Schedule patient consultations and procedures in the EMR system following policies.
• Complete insurance verification forms and obtain insurance information.
• Educate patients on in-network and out-of-network policies.
• Reschedule appointments as needed.
• Assist with patient registration, EMR data entry, and chart preparation.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and Practice values.
