Job summary

Hawaii Family Dental is seeking a friendly Front Office team member in Hawaii to greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage front desk operations. You will review treatment plans, estimate copays, and navigate insurance to provide accurate cost information for patients.

As part of a fast-paced dental office, you’ll remind patients about unscheduled treatments, assist with payment arrangements, and support the team with reliable computer skills and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of dental front office experience.
• Experience presenting treatment plans and financial estimates.
• Experience with copay verifications and insurance estimates.
• Submitting and following up on pre-authorizations.
• Ability to discuss and set up payment plans (e.g., CareCredit).
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with dental software.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly voice and face of the practice for patients.
• Review treatment plans and estimate copays.
• Navigate insurance to provide accurate estimates.
• Schedule patient visits and follow up on unscheduled treatment.
• Assist with front desk tasks and billing as needed.
